Supervisor Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Summary:
Provides administrative support to office staff.  Directs visitors and telephone calls to their destinations by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities includes the following (other duties may be assigned):
Greet visitors and provide directions. Issues appropriate personal protective equipment, visitor's badge and advises staff of their presence.
Answers incoming telephone calls and directs to proper department extension or takes messages.
Sort and distribute all mail, inter-company mail and packages. Handles all aspects of mail, including ordering all mail supplies, applying proper postage to outgoing mail, and becoming knowledgeable in the various postal services, their priorities and rates.
Performs clerical duties for office personnel including (but not limited to), typing, filing, copying and record keeping.
Ability to enter data in an AS400 computer system.
Advanced knowledge of the general use of Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Orders office supplies.

Education and/or Experience:
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and percentages.   Ability to apply concepts of mathematical calculations.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence in English.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization in English.
